King Shots Coffee opened a café in partnership with Leckhampton Rovers Football Club; welcome to The Dug Out Café!
We take huge pride in our homemade and locally sourced menu. In fact, we often have a new menu each week to celebrate what our local suppliers have in store for us – a lot of them are literally down the road from our café, here in Cheltenham.
Working with charity football club Leckhampton Rovers, we built our café with the hope of becoming a hub for all ages in our local Leckhampton community. If you take a look at our social media, you can see that we’ve done just that.
We host events year round, partnering with other local businesses and make sure everyone who enjoys our town park is well fed and coffee fuelled!

We’re probably one of Cheltenham’s most child friendly cafes with board games, children’s toys and colouring materials, rounders and boules sets to borrow. Our café doors open directly onto a new play park and huge field, and we’re just a 2 minute walk from the BMX pump track.
Dog friendly café
We’re also incredibly dog friendly and have dog treats, puppuccinos and doggy ice cream available as well as a water bowl. (Also if you forget your poo bags just ask and we can give you some!)

Locally roasted Fire and Flow coffee, Wholly Gelato icecream, Hayles Farm fruit juices and Tubby Toms bacon dusted tater-tots are all family favourites! The focus on local producers is a huge selling point and definitely does not go unnoticed! Who wouldn’t rather pay a little more for something locally made?
Plus there is a bring your own cup discount!
The staff are really friendly and helpful and they put on great events for families throughout the year too!
The outside seating area is a great addition to the park and makes chilly trips to the playground much more pleasant. Plus if the weather really turns there are a whole host of toys inside to keep the kids occupied!
A fantastic addition to Leckhampton!
The first time I visited this place I was very surprised - you don't usually expect this quality at a coffee shop in this kind of location! I can only highly recommend it. Particularly great if you have kids or dogs... Given there's parking and a huge playing field and well equipped playground right outside, you can stop and get your caffeine fix whilst your dog or kids run off some steam.
Also serves a good range of light snacks (sweet and savoury) and ice cream, too - even dog friendly ones!
Highly recommended.
